Champ Tyre is pleased to announce an important milestone in its Thailand manufacturing project: the first Thailand-made TBR tyre has successfully rolled off the production line. The inaugural product is the 385/65R22.5 TECH90, a trailer tyre developed for the European commercial vehicle market.
This achievement represents a significant step forward in Champ Tyre’s strategy to expand its manufacturing footprint in Thailand. Following the successful launch of PCR all-season tyre production, the company has now entered the next phase of development with the introduction of a dedicated TBR product line.
The TECH90 is designed for trailer axle applications, combining durability, stability, and even wear performance to meet the demanding requirements of long-haul and regional transport operations. As one of the most popular trailer sizes in Europe, the 385/65R22.5 specification plays a key role in fleet operations and logistics efficiency.
The Thailand TBR project is focused on serving European customers with a competitive and reliable supply solution. During the first phase, Champ Tyre plans to introduce four major sizes:
315/70R22.5
315/80R22.5
385/65R22.5
295/80R22.5
The product portfolio will cover Drive, Trailer, and All Position applications, with multiple tread patterns developed to address the performance needs of European fleets.
The successful production of the first TECH90 385/65R22.5 tyre demonstrates the readiness of the Thailand facility and marks the beginning of a new chapter for Champ Tyre’s commercial tyre business. The project will provide customers with greater supply chain flexibility, enhanced sourcing options, and continued access to high-quality products backed by Champ Tyre’s commitment to reliability and service.
As production ramps up, additional sizes and patterns will gradually enter the market, further strengthening Champ Tyre’s offering for the European TBR sector.
